Architects and allied professionals globally are recognizing the benefits of a professional qualification in Project Management. The Association for Project Management (APM) and the American Society for the Advancement of Project Management (asapm) are international associations offering a qualification and membership recognized worldwide via the International Project Management Association (IPMA). These associations set international standards for project managers.

ACSAC in association with JC Consultancy, the RIBA ís exclusive project management programme providers, is offering an intensive fast track course in Project Management leading to the IPMA Professional Qualification (Level D). The IPMA Level D examination offers successful candidates full membership of the asapm and the prerequisites for higher levels, where required.

This fully accredited course requires preparation and independent study prior to the four (4) day course that is followed by an examination on the fifth day. The course syllabus covers Business Case, Project Management Plan, Life Cycles, Work Breakdown Structure, Time Planning, Resource Planning, Cost Planning, Risk Management, Change Control, Quality Management, Health and Safety, Procurement, Teams and Team Building, Monitoring and Control amongst other topics.
